Dr. Carol West Patrick
The first of two children born June 26, 1948 to Charles and Doris West, Carol graduated from Lafayette High School in 1966.
She earned her Bachelors degree from University of Kentucky. She earned a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education-Special Ed. at Ashland University, Ohio. She completed her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Kentucky in August 2009. She is an Assistant Professor at Eastern Kentucky University where she teaches
in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences.
Kenneth Allen Patrick
Born April 11, 1948, the tenth and last child of Jerry and Louetta Patrick . Growing up years were spent in Athens Kentucky.
Graduated from Bryan Station High School in 1966.
Attended 2 years of College,
Southeastern Christian College, Winchester KY.
Broward Junior College, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
From my earliest memories, people have been important to me. I grew up in a home where I was taught to care about people, to treat them with respect, and love all people, even if I didn't like them all. As I have aged, my appreciation for others has grown stronger. I have chosen to focus the rest of my life encouraging as many people as possible. I want everyone to learn and understand, no matter what takes place in life, no matter how negative things may seem......... "THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE".
